The Paternal Family Project is inspired by real people and real situations that emulate life. Often these realities are compiled into data that awakens us to the gravity and truth that we may never know is available to compel us to take action, to do more, to elicit change, and to use our talents to shape and enhance lives in whatever way we can. The research speaks for itself, breathes life into these situations, and inspires us to embark on a journey whose challenges will nourish our resolve to never quit until lives are saved and livelihoods are healthy and impactful to others.
This is not about finger pointing and blame shifting. This is about real data and the circumstances that drive this data.
Guttmacher Institute reports 930,160 abortions performed in 2020 in the United States. This number and the CDC numbers are from 2020.

The Tennessee bill, SB494/HB1079, sponsored by Sen. Mark Pody, R-Lebanon, and Rep. Jerry Sexton, R-Bean Station, would give the man who impregnates a woman the ability to veto an abortion procedure by petitioning a court for an injunction.
The demographics might be somewhat surprising…
According to recent statistics, there were approximately 2.25M single fathers living with their children in 2020. This represents 20% of all single parent households. In 2022 the number of single father families rose to a staggering 6.4M households.
Single mothers are more than twice as likely to live below the poverty level than single fathers.
The average single father income is $50,000. Single mothers make 35% lower. 22% of single fathers receive food stamps and only 2% receive public assistance.
